JLikeIt! Update 1.0.1 is out!!!

JLikeIt! is module for Joomla! 1.5.x for displaying Facebook "Fan Box" social widget. New version provides non valid HTML fix.

New version is here. You can install new version on top of old one, without need to change any settings.

JLikeIt! Setting Guide

Hi, this is a small guide "How to tune JLikeIt! extension". Assume that you have installed JLikeIt! on your Joomla! site.
First step: go to backend, find JLikeIt! in "Module manager" and click on it. You will see something like this:

Now, you can start customizing module. Let me explain each property:

• Module Class Suffix
  This is standard Joomla! module parameter. You can assign custom HTML class using this parameter.
• Facebook page URL
  Fill here your Facebook Page URL. It should look like "http://www.facebook.com/pages/YaHahHA/114356931941332"
• Width
  Fan box width. You should set this value in pixels. Optimal width depends on your template or module position.
• Height
  Fan box height. You should set this value in pixels. Optimal height depends on module settings. I think the best way to find what settings is optimal for you and then set needed height value.
• Connections
  Number of "page friends" to display. If your fan box size is too small, not all friends will shown. Set this value to 0 if you don't want to show "friends".
• Show stream?
  If set to "Yes" then Facebook page updates will shown on fan box.
• Show header?
  If set to "Yes" then header will shown.

TwitterButtonPRO plugin announcement!!!

New TwitterButtonPRO plugin is out! This is an advanced version of TwitterButton plugin.

With this version you can specify in what categories plugin should display "tweet" button, also you can choose in which view to display "tweet" button (article, category blog or both). And finally, you can specify text to "tweet" and optionally add article title to this text.

!!! You need to specify categories before use plugin! No categories selected by default !!!
